Rules
1. Only ONE entry per exhibitor class.
2. Size of jar for exhibits: pint sealers or less, but not less than 8 ounces.
3. Each jar must be sealed with new lids – NO WAX.
4. Judge’s Special rosette for best entry.
5. Exhibitor with highest points in canning section will receive the Fred Bennett Memorial Trophy.
6. Entries may be brought to the Riverside Place on Wednesday between 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. or Thursday from 7:30 am to 8:15 am.
7. Exhibitor must prepare own entries.
8. All items are to be removed from the Riverside Place between 9:30 am and 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2016.

65. Bernardin Best of Show Award: Entries must be shown in Bernardin Mason Jar & Snap Lid. 1st place will be awarded to the exhibitor with the highest accumulated points in the Canning (classes 1to 64).
1st Prize – $30 Gift Certificate

66. Bernardin Jam/Jelly Award: 1st place will be awarded to the best jam or jelly entry using Bernardin Pectin. Judging will be based on appearance, taste, texture and recipe creativity. Any variety of jam or jelly can be used. Winning entry must include Bernardin Pectin package or UPC as proof of purchase.
1st Prize – $20 Gift Certificate

67. Bernardin Gift Pack Competition: 1st place will be awarded to the best gift pack submitted in a Bernardin Mason Jar & Snap Lid. Judging will be based on creativity, quality of home canned product, perceived value and appropriateness of presentation.
1st Prize – $20 Gift Certificate
(NOTE: 1st place winner will be entered in the Nation Gift Competition (1st Place – $100 cash prize, 2nd & 3rd Place – $25 cash prize each)

68.New Liskeard Agriculture Society Special: Best in canning Sections 1-61

69. Bernardin Snap Lid/Mason Jar Creative Craft Award: Best decorative or functional homemade craft using a Bernardin mason jar(s) and/or 2 piece snap lid as selected by the fair judges.
